Why Iris
This name is a reminder of our raison d'être, the union between our bodies and nature, and the respect we owe them. The iris is the colored part of the eye through which we observe the world, its nature, and the beauty we want to preserve through our social and environmental impact. It is also a flower, nicknamed rainbow, which symbolizes alliance, inclusiveness, and equity, which are fundamental values at Iris + Arlo.
Why Arlo
Arlo represents nature in its rawest, most persistent form. A nature we hold dear, and which we must take care of. Arlo is also a space, an in-between of high plateaus, a relief of nature, where streams flow along the ground. Iris + Arlo guides this ceaseless flow, echoing the movement towards equity and inclusion.
