How do I choose the right size for my Iris + Arlo period underwear?
Each model includes a size guide that indicates the measurements associated with each size. This will help you choose the one that suits you best.
Do they work for heavy flows?
Iris + Arlo panties are designed for regular and heavy flows.
How long can I wear Iris + Arlo period underwear?
It is essential to know your flow to determine the ideal amount of time to wear them. We recommend that you stay at home when using them for the first time so that you can see how many hours your panties remain 100% comfortable. For your information, period underwear can be worn for up to 12 hours.
Does it need to be changed during the day or night?
How long you can wear period underwear depends on the model you choose, as well as your flow and habits. However, we estimate that period panties can be worn for up to 12 hours. This means you can wear your panties all day or all night, depending on your needs.
Can there be odors?
It is normal for menstrual blood to have an odor; it is natural. The difference is that our panties are designed with breathable, natural fibers that limit the feeling of wetness and reduce odor concentration, even during heavy flows.
Are Iris + Arlo period underwear suitable for teenagers?
Of course, we have designed styles that are also suitable for teenagers. Period underwear allows for a smooth and easy transition into teenage life, and our products respect the vaginal natural balance and flora.
Can I use them after giving birth?
Our period panties can be used after giving birth, but not immediately. In the first few days, blood loss (called lochia) can be very heavy, so we recommend using specific postpartum products during this period.
However, once the lochia has passed, our panties offer a comfortable and reliable solution for absorbing regular or heavy bleeding, depending on the flow you choose.
Can I wear Iris + Arlo period underwear as swimwear?
We advise against using our panties as swimwear and recommend keeping them dry. This means we also recommend changing them after intense physical activity during which you may have sweated heavily.
Washing and care
Should I wash them before using them for the first time?
Yes, as with all clothing, it is best to wash them before using them for the first time, due to the manipulation during manufacture.
How to wash Iris + Arlo period underwear
First, rinse your panties in cold water. Then, we recommend washing them in the washing machine or by hand in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Then leave them to air dry, as tumble drying will cause the fabric to shrink.
Will the blood spread to my other clothes?
No! If you rinse and wash them in cold water, your other clothes will not be stained, and they will remain perfectly hygienic. Washing machines will dilute the blood almost immediately.
If the blood has dried, how should I wash my Iris + Arlo period underwear?
We recommend soaking them for one to two hours in a basin with a little laundry soap, always in cold water, to rehydrate and loosen the fibers from any blood. Then rinse and wash by hand or in the washing machine, also in cold water.
How many period panties should I have?
We recommend having 3 to 5 pairs to cover a full menstrual cycle or to allow time to wash and dry the panties before wearing them again
